The Kruger National Park covers almost 2 million hectares of unspoiled terrain. It is about the same size as the whole of Israel. The length of the park is on average 360 km and the widest point is 65 km. It has a network of 1800 km of well maintained road. This flagship park is situated in Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces on the border with Mozambique.
The park is home to the world’s largest diversity of wildlife in their natural environment. It has 517 bird, 49 fish, 34 amphibian, 114 reptile, 336 tree and 147 mammal species. Apart from this paradise, you can view spectacular scenery in the mountainous area known as the Panorama Route. Panorama Route is en route to the Kruger National Park.

I am the owner of Flycatcher Travel and my idea with this blog is to report on sites that we visit. I am also very interested in South African history.
